Tay ethnic group is one of the first owners of ancient Vietnam, the Tay people have many long-standing traditions and unique cultural identities. This design is the tribute to traditional Tay clothing which mainly made of black indigo fabric, with little decorative patterns.

Hà Nội capsule was developed as the result of Textile Seekers and The Lissome Creative Fellowship Award 2024 award which permitted us to explore the wonder of textile craftsmanship , delving into the world of indigenous textile traditions, slow fashion and cultural heritage in Vietnam. The Lissome is an award-winning independent magazine envisioning holistic fashion futures, by bringing forward a culture of regeneration, compassion and cooperation and placing human and non-human wellbeing first. The Textile Seekers is a slow creative retreat company that educates visitors on the traditional textile practices of ethnic tribes in Vietnam and beyond to promote the cultural heritage surrounding them.
