At KM by LANGE we operate with integrity and transparency. These guidelines outline the requirements that all KM by LANGE producers and suppliers must meet in order to do business with us, and are in accordance with key UN and ILO conventions and adhere to internationally accepted standards.

Legal and Ethical Standards

Our brand upholds the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our operations. We respect intellectual property rights and avoid any form of infringement. Additionally, we maintain accurate and transparent financial records, ensuring accountability and compliance with legal requirements.

Fair Wages Policy

We are one big Ukranian family so we strive to help our workers on both a professional and personal level.

Fair compensation, working hours, and transparent record keeping are all essential functions of our business model. Our fair wages policy ensures that every individual within our workforce receives remuneration that exceeds legal minimums. We work diligently to ensure that all members of our supply chain receive the proper benefits and are not required to work excessive hours such as overtime. Our trusted and transparent relationships with our suppliers allow us to make payments to our workers on a scheduled basis or sometimes even beforehand.

Child Labor

Our belief is that fashion does not have to come at an expense to others.

As such, We strictly prohibit the use of child labor in any part of our supply chain. We do not employ anyone under the age of 18 and our suppliers are permitted to follow the same regulations. We are dedicated to protecting the rights and well-being of children and ensuring that they are not exploited in any way.

Health and Safety

Our employees are provided a safe and healthy work environment and are not subject to unsanitary or hazardous conditions. Our facilities adhere to all rigorous health and safety standards, and we continuously invest in measures to mitigate risks and promote employee wellness. Our suppliers must adhere to all applicable laws of the countries in which they operate. Our ultimate goal is to prevent accidents and injuries, and ensure the well-being of everyone involved in our operations.

Each KM By Lange piece is created with the least possible environmental impact.

KM By Lange is deeply committed to minimizing our environmental impact. Throughout our supply chain, we prioritize sustainable practices, including waste reduction and resource conservation. At the heart of our initiatives, we care for our earth and implement sustainable practices in the production of each product. Every piece in our collection is meticulously crafted from the purest materials sourced from trusted, skilled suppliers with passion and expertise. We salvage deadstock, upcycle vintage clothing, and use materials provided by the earth to minimize waste and maximize quality. 85% of our fabrics are organic, recycled or from deadstock. By ingeniously repurposing excess materials into our creations, we not only reduce waste but also offer exclusive designs with unique patterns.

Discrimination has no place in any point of our supply chain or brand. Our suppliers may not discriminate against its employees during any stage of the employment relationship on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, color, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, political opinion, union affiliation, social group, marital status,

pregnancy or any other classification protected by local, national and international law. All employment relationships should include effective mechanisms to protect migrant, temporary or seasonal workers from any form of discrimination.

Harassment

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of physical, sexual, psychological, or verbal harassment. Suppliers are required to treat all employees fairly and respectfully. We are committed to fostering a safe and supportive work environment for all our employees across all channels.

Material Sourcing

Ethical sourcing is a key component of our brand.

Our sourcing practices prompt us to work with suppliers who prioritize ethical and sustainable operations. We maintain supply chain transparency to ensure that materials are obtained legally and ethically by using only one set of designated suppliers for raw materials.

Animal Welfare

KM By Lange is committed to cruelty-free practices and the ethical treatment of animals. We do not engage in animal testing and ensure that all our products are free from any animal-derived materials. We partner with suppliers who share our commitment to animal welfare, promoting responsible and ethical sourcing practices.
